Pet Partner Connections (PPC) is small community based not for profit (5013c) serving Yates County, NY. Our goal is to prevent companion animals from being abandoned or surrendered and keep pets in their homes. We do this by assisting home-bound, elderly and disabled pet owners with food and care assistance for their beloved animal. We also host pet food pantries in cooperation with local food pantries to provide limited assistance to struggling pet owners. PPC is engaged at every level of the community providing food and care assistance as well as encouraging and helping low-income families spay and neuter their pets. There are no other similar services in Yates County and we firmly believe that programs such as ours are essential to both animal and human welfare, while at the same time, reducing the load on the overburdened shelter system.
